The Harvard School of Public Health was an offshoot of the Harvard-MIT School for Health Officers founded in 1913, the program was the first population health training program in the United States.

Test Scores: In order to qualify for admission into the Master of Public health program at Harvard School of Public Health candidates who received their first degree from an institution where English is not the language of instruction require a minimum TOEFL score of

- 250 on the CBT (computer based test) or
- 100 on the Internet-based TOEFL.
