World Health Organization New Consolidated Guidelines For The Use Of Antiretroviral Drugs in Treating And Preventing HIV Infection
These New World Health Organization guidelines provide broad guidance on the diagnosis of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, the use and administration of antiretroviral (ARV) drugs for the treatment and prevention of HIV infection and the care of people living with HIV/AIDS. The guidelines are designed along the continuum of HIV testing, prevention, treatment and care.
This new edition of World Health Organization guidelines on the use of antiretroviral drugs for treating and preventing HIV infection is an update of the 2013 version of the consolidated guidelines on the use of antiretroviral drugs. After extensive review of evidence and consultations this new guideline is being published in a changing global context for HIV and for health more broadly.
