Does Abidec Make Babies Gain Weight

All babies grow at different paces. For most, growth after birth is fast and easy. But some babies do not gain weight as quickly as expected, even though they may have a healthy appetite. We get concerned about lack of weight gain because it can lead to problems like developmental delays, behavioral concerns and difficulty fighting infections. Raising a child that is underweight for his or her age can be depressing.

Several possible factors can cause slow weight gain, from a medical condition to social or financial hardship. Anything that interferes with a child’s access to food or ability to digest food can impair their growth. Often it is caused by a combination of factors.

Why are vitamins important for healthy development?

Vitamins and minerals are essential for healthy development and growth, especially for babies who are born prematurely. The required levels of vitamins are usually obtained through eating a healthy diet. Similarly breast milk and formula powders contain some vitamins but not enough to support the development of premature babies. It is so important to ensure that your child receives all the vitamins they require in order to support healthy growth and development.

What are multivitamins?

Traditional supplements tend to contain just one vitamin or mineral, whereas multivitamins contain a blended formula of different vitamins and minerals, which are ideal for those who miss out on many vitamins from their diet. In some circumstances, it isn’t possible for children and babies to receive all of the vitamins they need from their diet alone, so multivitamins can help to include any vitamins and minerals that are missing in the diet.
