What is Dynamogen Oral Solution?
Dynamogen Oral Solution also known as Dynamogen syrup is an appetite stimulating medication that contains Glutodine (cyproheptadine a-ketoglutarate) as the main active ingredient. Glutodine is a first-generation antihistamine with additional antiserotonergic, anticholinergic and local anesthetic properties.
Dynamogen is used for the treatment of all processes where it is necessary to restore the intake of basic elements involved in an energizing activation: asthenia and psychoasthenia, anorexia, malnutrition, convalescence, reduction of intellectual capacity, slow growth, adynamia, school fatigue.
Each 10ml drinkable ampoule of Dynamogen contains the following ingredients: 3mg Glutodine (cyproheptadine a-ketoglutarate), 1g Arginine Aspartate, Excipients: Saccharose (3.575 g), Sorbitol solution 70 (4.875 g), Raspberry essence, and water, q.s.
How Should I Take Dynamogen Oral Solution?
Separate the ampoule; Tear the tongue, by turning; Reverse the ampoule, press and pour the content in a glass.
Dosage of Dynamogen Oral Solution is as follows:
Adults: Up to three drinkable ampoules per day.
Children: Give One (1) drinkable ampoule twice daily, preferably taken half an hour before main meals.
Dosage of 3 drinkable ampoules per 24 hours is also recommended for children suffering severe anorexia or important weight deficits.

Contra-indications: As a result of the presence of Cyproheptadine α-Ketoglutarate, it must not be used by nursing mothers or by premature or newly born children. Though there are no contraindications, its use is not recommended in severe liver or kidney conditions.
Precautions/Warnings: This drug contains 3.58 g of Saccharose per 10 mL, which must be considered by diabetic patients.
Interactions: It must not be used simultaneously with MAO inhibitors. See: List of MAO inhibitors. Concomitant administration with anti-cholinergic drugs, neuroleptics or tricycle anti-depressants must be avoided, as an addition of anti-cholinergic effects may occur.
