Will GML Apeti make me gain weight?

According to a study published in 2014, using Cyproheptadine hydrochloride-containing medication like GML Apeti can be a modality for improving the nutritional status of children with malnutrition. GML Apeti works by blocking the histamine and serotonin from the body. GML Apeti can increase your appetite fast and cause you to gain weight. However, fast weight gain will mostly be in the form of added body fat. Excess fat can endanger your health, even if your body mass index, or BMI, is just barely in the normal range. A condition known as “normal weight obesity” occurs when a person has a BMI in the normal range, but a high percentage of body fat greater than 30 percent in women or higher than 20 percent in men.

Normal weight obesity makes you vulnerable to the same ailments associated with obesity, such as Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic conditions. For example, a paper published in the journal, Progress in Cardiovascular Disease, in 2014 reported that coronary artery disease patients with normal BMIs but substantial belly fat have the highest risk of death.

Where Can I buy GML Apeti pills?

Although GML Apeti pills are an over-the-counter drug in many countries,  it is currently illegal to sell GML Apeti pills in some countries, including the U.S., because GML Apeti pills contain a prescription-only drug (cyproheptadine hydrochloride) which is only available with a prescription because of its potential side effects and safety concerns, which, on the severe side, includes liver failure. On top of that, the FDA has not approved and does not regulate GML Apeti pills, which means that some (and possibly many) GML Apeti pills products don’t accurately disclose what they contain. This presents the risk of toxicity from any undisclosed ingredients. Because of these reasons, you won’t find Apetamin at reputable food, vitamin, or supplement stores in the U.S.

Nevertheless, in other countries, you can legally buy GML Apeti pills over the counter from your local pharmacy store or online without a prescription.
