Although the functions or services provided by health departments is largely dependent on the types of role assigned to it by the country in which it is domiciled, their primary role of local, state or federal health department is irrespective of the country include;

What Time Does The Health Department Open?
Most health department are open to the public from : 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Weekdays . Some open Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m and are closed weekends and on all legal state and national holidays.
