The current Public health Nigeria membership includes students, civil servants, retirees, public health professionals, clinicians, allied public health professionals, organizations, and individuals purely interested in the overall health and well-being of communities.
When you become a member, you join an elite group of global citizens striving to ensure the population gets the resources and information required to promote healthy living and responsible lifestyles.
Membership is open to individuals of all nationalities with an interest in advancing public health and improving safety measures.
Public Health Ambassadors Of Nigeria This is an award that recognizes members of the public health community and others that have demonstrated excellence in public health, community health, and public service related to public safety, or service to humanity.
It is an award that celebrates the best in the field of public health as well as encourages excellence among, public health practitioners, academics, public officials, and the general public on the need to promote health & safety
Criteria
This award is conferred on individuals on the recommendation of a fellow of a professional public health body, institution, a public health practitioner with at least 7 years of experience, or a registered Non-Governmental Organization.
In order for the nomination to be considered the nomination form and supporting documents must show
How the nominee exemplifies exceptional achievement, longstanding excellence, outstanding leadership,
What contributions the nominee has made to advance public and community health in Nigeria
What specific action/ actions demonstrate the nominees’ passion for protecting and promoting health
Nominees must also be performing or have performed a leadership or practicing role in public health, public service, or related fields for a period of at least 2 years.
Public health Nigeria does not charge any fee for this or any other award. Awards from Public health Nigeria are also NOT FOR SALE but strictly conferred on deserving individuals who have distinguished themselves in their chosen fields and disciplines.
However, members and the general public are encouraged to donate towards the sustenance of Public Health Nigeria projects and other activities geared towards improving the health of communities using the donate button.
